COVID 19: Transmission, Symptoms and Prevention.

The main method of transmission of COVID 19 is person to person contact which occur when:

a. Some one with the virus sneezes or coughs on you.

b. When you touch your face with infected hands. This gives the virus an entry point via the eyes, nose or mouth.

COVID 19 can take up 14 days before symptoms appear. The major symptoms are:

a. Repeated cough

b. Breathing difficulty

c. Shortness of breath

d. Fever

e. Fatigue

f. Headache

g. Sore throat

h. Aches and pains

Currently there is no vaccine or injection for COVID 19. The best one can do is Prevention through:

a. Washing of hands regularly

b. Cover your mouth and nose with tissue when coughing or sneezing.

c. Dispose the tissue properly

d. Avoid close contact with people who have symptoms of COVID 19

e. Avoid large gathering

f. Donot touch your face if your hands are not clean

g. If you develop the symptoms you need to self isolate and call the COVID 19 hotline
